About

Built by accountants who got tired of stitching tools together.

Elenore Kelvin and Arthur Moss left PwC Hammersmith in 2014 to run a 30-client practice. They started building Ledgerline from inside it because no tool on the market could cover compliance, practice, bookkeeping, and partner-level insight without three integrations and a spreadsheet.

  • Ledgerline is HMRC-recognised for MTD VAT, MTD ITSA, and CT, and is Revenue-approved for ROS submissions in Ireland. Submissions go directly from the platform — no exporting to a separate tool.

  • Yes. Our migrations team runs paid, fixed-fee migrations from BrightPay, IRIS Practice, Sage Accountants, CCH, and TaxCalc. Typical timeline is two to four weeks for a 50-client firm, including parallel running of one filing cycle.

  • Per active client per month, billed annually, with unlimited firm seats. Starter (£4.50/client/mo) bundles Compliance and Practice for firms under £500k revenue. Standard (£7.20) adds Bookkeeping. Scale (£9.80) adds Insights, partner-led migration, and a dedicated success manager. Full comparison in the pricing section above.

  • All client data is hosted in EU/UK regions (AWS eu-west-1 and eu-west-2) with at-rest encryption and per-firm key isolation. Ledgerline staff cannot view client data without a documented support request and your written approval.

  • Yes — ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type II, audited annually by A-LIGN. We also publish a public trust centre with sub-processor lists, uptime history, and the latest pen-test summary.
